Job description – Retail & Site Assistant

We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person with excellent customer service skills to work as a member of our retail & site team at the National Scuba Diving & Swim Centre based here at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire.
The successful candidate will play an essential role in maintaining a welcoming environment for customers while assisting with various tasks to facilitate the smooth functioning of our site.

We’re looking for a candidate with the following:

• The ability to work well in a close-knit team as-well-as independently.
• Written and oral communication skills with the ability to establish a rapport with a range of people.
• Customer service skills.
• Decision-making skills and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
• An understanding of the importance of health & safety.
• A strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Our centre is open 7 days a week and we require you to have an amount of flexibility regarding working times and tasks, this position will include regular weekend work.

An interest in watersports while beneficial, is not mandatory for this role. Any required training will be given.
